For two weeks, from 13 to 18 July and from 20 to 25 July 2007, the les Coches ice rink will play host to some top level skaters. These two courses are in addition to the leisure courses organised by Nathalie Cocchi throughout the summer.

Teachers
Nathalie COCCHI and Catherine TRENCHARD qualified figure skating teachers, French synchronised skating champions and with several appearances in the French Championships.

Rhythm
The week from 13 to 18 July or from 20 to 25 July 2007. 6 day courses with a minimum of 24 hours of instruction per week, running from Sunday to Friday with preparation for the show which takes place during the course.
Training sessions off the ice and physical preparation sessions will organised throughout the week. The course will end with a drinks party.

Daily programme
- simple sliding technique, followed by steps and pirouettes
- consolidation of jumps already learnt, learning new jumps
- linking combinations of jumps, preparation for the weekly show, rehearsals, choreography work.
- various sporting activities according to availability (rafting, archery etc.).
Figure skating disciplines taught: jumps, pirouettes, arabesques, short steps, skate forwards and backwards, cross-overs etc.

Required standard
These courses are aimed at skaters with some experience as well as enthusiasms mastering the basic principles of skating: setting the edge, balance, turning around, pirouettes, small jumps etc.

Insurance
The organiser is covered by a professional public liability policy.
Participants must have personal all-risks cover and present a medical certificate attesting to their suitability for skating.

Equipment
Courses take place at the les Coches ice rink.Hire skates can be supplied but it is better for skaters to have their own skates, gloves and suitable sports clothing.

Prices
175 € for one week
320 € for two weeks.

Courses for those aged 6 and over. The number of places is limited. The activities will take place subject to alteration (particularly due to the weather and the students’ standard etc.) The published programme is only provisional.
