Champagny en Vanoise is at the heart of the Vanoise National Park and opens the park gates to you:
More than 4,000 ha of the area are designated as the central zone and the rest as the outer zone. The Vanoise National Park, the first National Park in France was set up in 1963. Its purpose is to develop tourism, culture and the economy around local resources and to encourage respect for the environment and the cultural heritage of the area. More than 600 km of marked trails criss-cross the Park’s mountains (200 km of which are in the Champagny area) offering hikersand their families a wide variety of walking opportunities.
