White water sports
KAYAK ACTIVITIES AND PADDLE SCHOOLBetween 9 July and 24 August. Come and discover the kayak with the club de la Plagne Eaux Vives (La Plagne White Water Sports Club, an approve youth and sport organisation supervised by a state qualified instructor on the man made lake at Macôt.
Individual introduction on calm water (adult/child): ¼ hr = 4€; ½ hr = 7€; 1 hr = 13€.
Groups (booking essential): 1 hr, 7 people (adults & children) = 10€ per person.
Prices for white water and lessons on request.
Opening days: Sundays and Thursdays between 2.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. (except in case of rain).

CANYONING
Canyoning’s natural setting is a quite extraordinary playground. Some rivers have carved out magnificent gorges, beautiful lagoons and impressive waterfalls.
François ALLEMOZ, high mountain guide and qualified canyon guide, will be happy to take you. Different canyons are visited each week and they are classified by difficulty: (from level 1 to beginner level).Prices: 48 € (introduction); 58 € (advanced ½ day); 78 € (advanced 1 day).Equipment supplied: wet suit, helmet, harness.

RAFTING
Discover white water sports through rating! An original way to explore the Isère Valley, where the world canoe championships are held. Carrying groups of 8, the rafts are driven by paddle under the guidance and supervision of a qualified guide. The sense of team spirit and sporting competition will leave you with and unforgettable memory of a sport everyone over 10 and able to swim can enjoy.
WHITE WATER SWIMMING
Using an individual streamlined float (hydrospeed), the swimmer wears an all-in-one wetsuit and flippers. Open to swimmers aged 12 and over. You will tackle the waves solo under the watchful eye of your guide.
KAYAK-RAFT OR HOT DOG
A small single or 2-seater inflatable and self-emptying canoe. For swimmers aged 14 and over.
CATARAFT
A mini « catamaran » type raft for 4 people steered by paddles, giving its crew a great feeling of movement and control. Open to swimmers aged 14 and over.
